As this is my very first colour challenge, I have kept my cards simple and fun.  I've used the kissing technique, from page 130 of our Annual Catalogue and made the words "Hello!" and "Great!" with Layered Letters Alphabet (138692, $47).

Hope you enjoyed something a bit different from me!  Next up, we have the lovely and talented Kate Morgan.

AWHT Blog Hop - Holiday Catalogue

Today some of the Art with Heart Stampin' Up! team girls are sharing some fun and fabulous ideas to inspire you from our brand new Holiday Catalogue available now until 4th January 2016.

On my very first flick through our gorgeous new catalogue, brimming with Christmas goodies, I was immediately taken by the black, gold and white Winter Wonderland Specialty Designer Series Paper (139588, $22.75, 12 sheets, 12" x 12", metallic).  Its glossy sheets are so luxe and divine, it breaks my heart to run them through my trimmer!  It's the type of paper that you'd want to keep forever, but is also screaming out to be used, it's THAT stunning.  I hope that the two projects I've made, one in gold and one in silver, highlight how amazing this paper really is.

Next up we have the gorgeous and talented, Kathryn Ruddick.  Thanks for hopping by!

AWHT Blog Hop - Father's Day

Hello and welcome to my AWHT blog hop entry!  If you've come from the lovely and talented Kate Morgan, or straight into my blog, please be sure to continue through the blog hop to see all of our team's amazing creations.

Today some of the Art with Heart Stampin' Up! team girls are presenting some fabulous Father's Day ideas to inspire you.

We also have our brand new 2015 Holiday Catalogue available from 1 September, with some amazing Christmas inspiration for you.

My Father's Day card is in a stylish and masculine monochromatic colour scheme featuring Everyday Chic Designer Series Paper, with a touch of silver around the rim of the steam train image and in the strip of matching Everyday Chic Designer Washi Tape, behind the greeting.  There's plenty of texture on this card, using the new White Corrugated Paper, the new stitched satin ribbon in Basic Black and the shiny metallic Silver Foil Sheet.  The banners were super-easy to cut with the new Triple Banner Punch.  This card didn't take long at all to put together, with a striking result.

Thanks for popping by!  Next up we have our amazingly talented and gorgeous team leader, Claire Daly.

I'm back!

Hello and welcome to my blog!  I'm so glad you've dropped in.  I've had quite a long break from card making and holding classes due to various illnesses and family commitments, but that's what's so great about being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - FLEXIBILITY!!!

I've recently added new classes and new card projects to my Facebook page, so when you're ready, please pop over and have a look!

AWHT Blog Hop - New Annual Catalogue

Hello and welcome to my blog.  Today I bring you another AWHT blog hop with some of the awesome ladies in the Art With Heart Stampin' Up! Team.  Today, our focus is on the beautiful new 2015-2016 Annual Catalogue.

I would also like to highlight the joining special for the month of June. Our group is one of the largest teams in Melbourne and offer support, fun and friendship to anyone who would like to join us; from hobby demonstrators to business demonstrators and anyone in between.  For the month of June, there is a bonus special, you get to choose any two stamp sets of your choice for FREE along with your starter kit ($169).  What are you waiting for?  Contact me today to find out more.

One of the benefits of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, is that we get a sneak peek of a select range of products a month before a new catalogue goes live to customers.  When we received the details of our pre-order products, I instantly fell in love with the Cherry On Top Designer Series Paper Stack (138443, $14), a gorgeous little pad of cheerful patterned paper with bright summer patterns, including yummy ice creams, cupcakes and cherries.  Being a quarter of the size of our normal Designer Series Paper packs (6 x 6"), there are more sheets (48), they're easy to handle, store and transport, and flick through when you're browsing for the perfect pattern.  It's so cute!

Of course, what would a Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper Stack be without a coordinating product???  There's matching Cherry On Top Washi Tape (138384, $14)!!!  Five rolls of gorgeous printed washi to go with the Cherry On Top paper!

Also on the Demonstrator Pre-Order list was the gorgeous Sprinkles of Life stamp set (139971, $37), full of ice creams and cupcakes.  You can find it on the inside back cover of the new Annual Catalogue.  With every purchase of this stamp set, Stampin' Up! donates $3 to Ronald McDonald House Charities.  So far, Stampin' Up! has donated over $1 million to RMHC!  That's lots of families given accommodation nearby the hospital their children are in when they don't live close by.

With these gorgeous products, I present to you, my shaker card!

A little tip: I found a use for the edges of the Stampin' Dimensionals that come in one whole row with a straight side.  I lined the inside edges of the shaker with them, so the little hearts won't fall out.  How clever is that!?  Using the Squares Collection Framelits made this so much easier than circles, ovals or stars.

I hope you've enjoyed my project and have fun continuing through our Blog Hop.  Next up is the very talented and lovely Kathryn Mangelsdorf.  Just click on the heart below.
